Almost 100,000 people attended the event yesterday, according to RTÉ.
There have been reports that tents and portaloos on the site have been blown over due to the strong winds.
It is unknown whether the championship will continue on for its third day, as Storm Ali is set to come to an end in Ireland this evening.
