One moment on the latest episode of First Dates Ireland has had everyone talking this week.
Katie who was on First Dates Ireland opened up about her own mental health issues and it has provoked a social media frenzy in support for her.
The 24 year old opened up to the RTÉ cameras saying that she had “severe depression”.
“I had a breakdown and I was using alcohol to block out the pain of depression and that progressed until I ended up in hospital twice,” she said on the show.
Twitter was gushing with support for Katie as she ordered a mocktail on First Dates Ireland.
