Maura Higgins has shared a glimpse inside her new home, amid reports she’s split from Giovanni Pernice.
Taking to Instagram this afternoon, the former Love Island star posted a photo of her new living space.
She captioned the post: “New place is finally coming together… I totally forgot how stressful moving is.”
On Monday, The Sun reported that Maura and Giovanni had split after four months together.
A source said: “It’s all over for now. Maura’s absolutely devastated, it appears the Strictly curse has struck again.”
“Pals are hoping that they can patch things up. But only time will tell whether they’ll work things out as Giovanni is so busy.”
“He’s been focusing on Strictly, training his celeb partner Rose 24/7, and they’ve become really good friends. He’s even been learning sign language from Rose, showing it off on social media.”
“Maura’s decided to take a step back and let him concentrate on the show,” the insider added.
Giovanni’s rep declined to comment on this story when contacted by Goss.ie, and Maura’s rep didn’t respond.Â
The Love Island star and the Strictly Come Dancing pro confirmed their romance in July, and were set to move in together this month.
But over the weekend, eagle-eyed fans noticed that they had removed all traces of their relationship from social media, sparking fears they had called it quits.

Earlier this month, a source told the MailOnline that Maura and Giovanni were planning on moving in together.
The insider said: “Things have become serious very quickly between Maura and Gio and they are now ready to move things up a level by getting their own place.”
“They both lead incredibly busy lives and spend a lot of time on the road working – so having somewhere they can come back to and always be together is incredibly important.”
“They have been talking about it and would like to start looking as soon as they can.”
