Maura Higgins has revealed that she is getting tested for the coronavirus.
The Love Island star revealed to her followers that she got a home testing kit to ensure that she is in full health ahead of a busy month.
Sharing a photo of the test to her Instagram stories, Maura wrote: “Making sure I’m healthy for the busy weeks I’ve got ahead of me.”
The Longford native moved to London last year following her success on Love Island.
In the UK it is currently possible to take COVID-19 tests from home, and send the sample away to get a result.
The tests involve swabbing the inside of your mouth and your nose, but this is not something being offered in Ireland at the moment.
Speaking to Today FM ahead of her move to London, Maura said: “I want to move over to London because that’s where all of my work is going to be based.”
Last month, the 29-year-old flew home to Ireland to surprise her niece – after spending months apart due to the pandemic.
