Former X Factor contestant Mary Byrne has revealed Louis Walsh has remained tight-lipped about returning to the hit show.
The singer, who appeared on the 2010 version of the talent show, admitted the Mayo man is saying “nothing” about going back on the programme.
“He’s saying nothing. I asked him about the rumours and all he would tell me was that ‘we’ll just have to wait and see what happens’,” she said.

The Dubliner, who reached the semi-finals of the reality contest, insisted she owes “everything” to the X Factor.
“I was 50 – and all I wanted was a chance to sing on a different platform,” she told the Derry Journal.
“X Factor gave me that – and everything that has happened since has exceeded my expectations.
“I owe so much to Simon Cowell, and to Louis who was my mentor and the two girls Dani and Cheryl,” she added.
