Marissa Carter to donate ALL proceeds from Masterclass to a very special cause

Marissa's next Masterclass will help a very sick little boy get the medication he needs

Marissa Carter is back again hosting another amazing Masterclass, but this time it’s for a very special cause.

Vincent Lyons is a 6-year old boy with a genetic disorder called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) for which there is no cure. DMD means that the sufferer cannot make a certain type of protein and therefore weakens the muscle, leading to severe complications in the legs, heart and lungs.

Late last year, Vincent’s parents, Vivian and Alan Lyons, received news that a beneficial drug for Vincent could be shipped to Ireland, but the cost of the medication is an astronomical €441,000 plus shipping, which the family have to fund themselves.

For more information on Vincent and his family, visit this page.

The CEO of Cocoa Brown Tan is holding another Marissa’s Masterclass in Dunboyne Castle this Sunday the 21st of January to raise money for the cause.

The amount of money raised on the day will also be matched by Marissa, and sent directly to the Lyons family. You can watch Vivian and Alan Lyons with Marissa Carter on Ireland AM here.

At the Masterclass, you can expect makeup, skin care and tanning tips galore from Marissa herself.

If you’re feeling a bit peckish there will be a spot of afternoon tea at the event, and you will also receive a goodie bag packed full of Marissa’s favourite products, along with spot prizes from some amazing fashion and beauty brands. This Masterclass is not to be missed.

Tickets are €105 and you can purchase them here. If you want to help but can’t attend the event, you can donate money to their go fund me page.
