One of our favourite social media stars will also be on the show

Hollywood star Liam Neeson joins former White House press secretary Sean Spicer on the line-up for this week’s Late Late Show.

The Ballymena-born Oscar-nominated actor will be in studio to chat about being one of the world’s biggest action stars as his new movie The Commuter lands in cinemas.

In an Irish television exclusive, former Trump White House spokesman Sean Spicer joins Ryan live in studio on Friday night to talk about what it was like to be part of one of the most controversial US presidencies in history.

He will be talking about finding himself at the centre of a global media storm after his first outing facing the press in the White House and why he still believes he was right to claim that Trump’s inauguration was the biggest ever.

He’ll be taking viewers through his six months in the eye of the storm, including what he really thinks about Melissa McCarthy’s infamous impression of him on Saturday Night Live, and why he ultimately decided to resign.

Deborah Somorin became homeless at 13-years-old, moving into emergency accommodation where she had to be locked into her room at night for her own safety.

When she became pregnant at 14, the home where she was living was turned into a mother and baby unit with staff helping her adjust to her new life as mum. At 17-years-old her own mother, who suffered from depression, died by suicide.

From such turbulent beginnings, she has turned her life around, working for accountancy firm PwC and due to qualify as a chartered accountant next year. On Friday night she will share how, through sheer determination, she triumphed over incredible adversity.

Presenter Maura Derrane, Snapchat star James Kavanagh and former Irish international footballer Stephen Hunt will also be joining Ryan to chat about the things they’d like to bin as 2018 gets underway.
