Majella O’Donnell SLAMS treatment of Cliff Richard

Majella O’Donnell has slammed cops in the UK, after pal Cliff Richard was cleared of sex abuse claims yesterday.

Majella and husband Daniel supported the British singer throughout the sex abuse case, which was dragged out over two years.

When news that the case against Cliff had been dropped, Majella couldn’t contain her delight as she, “always believed in him”.

“So happy to hear that #cliffrichard will face no charges after a two year investigation! I always believed in him.”

The mother-of-two also tweeted, “About time 2!! He was treated appallingly!! Accusers should NOT be named until proven guilty. He was always innocent.”

Majella was one of the first to publicly show support for the 72-year-old after his Berkshire home was raided in 2014 – which was then shown on the BBC.

Speaking on the Late Late Show, she said, “”I will support him as a friend. His name should not have been released until they had at least spoken to him.”

Meanwhile, Daniel O’Donnell took to his Facebook page to show support for his “good friend” Cliff.
