TV presenter Maia Dunphy had revealed the “the time is right” to finally move in with her husband Johnny Vegas.
The RTE star admitted living apart from the comedian was “getting harder” after three years of marriage
“It’s always been this way so it’s all we’ve ever known. But it’s getting harder, which is probably a good sign,” she said.
“If it was getting easier you’d need to ask questions. But I’m really excited.”

Now the 37-year-old – who married Johnny in Spain in 2011, three years after first meeting – will move to London to be with Johnny in September or October.
“The time is right. We’ve never put it off for any other reason than just work so I’ve been very fortunate in that respect, and so is he, that we’ve both been very busy,” she told the Irish Sun.

“But time goes by so quickly and suddenly it’s three years and I’m like, ‘How the hell has it been three years?’ I don’t know where the time goes.
“I think we’re both very excited. And spending more time with his son as well will be lovely.”
However Maia – who is supporting the Dogs Trust – won’t be giving up on TV work.
“London is really exciting so I’ll be looking into new opportunities there,” she said. “But I’ll be back and forth with work here too.”
