Lucy Kennedy has revealed the first guest for the new season of Living with Lucy.
The popular show is back in its’ original format this year, after changing to Lodging with Lucy last year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking at the Virgin Media new season launch, the popular presenter confirmed she had just returned from living with former footballer Paul Gascoigne.

Lucy said: “I have just been living with Gazza, Paul Gascoigne.”
“I went over and lived with him for 2 nights, 3 days. We played football, we chatted about life, very nostalgic, I think the viewers are going to love this.”
Paul is an English footballer who has played for teams such as Tottenham Hotspurs and represented England in the World Cup.
The 54-year-old has been very open about his struggles with alcoholism, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder and eating disorders.
Lucy said: “He’s so honest, he’s so raw and he was willing to discuss everything, he was very comfy with me.”
“He said I snored, I don’t snore. He was lovely with the crew. He loved the whole vibe of us and he enjoyed our company. He really opened up.”
“I think it’s going to be an emotional one I think for people to watch because obviously, physically he has changed a lot. He’s only 54, he does look older but he’s a good guy. He’s very much one of us. He’s got a wicked sense of humour.”
Lucy also revealed she would be joined by Kerry football legend Pat Spillane and reality TV star Hughie Maughan in the upcoming series.
Lucy said Pat and his wife Rosarii were the “most wonderful hosts”.
She told Independent.ie: “Pat tried to teach me how to play football but gave up. Pat may question this but I think he may be the only person that talks more than me. I think he drew breath once over the weekend.”
“He’s a lovely and very interesting person. He does talk a lot but everything he says makes sense. His wife Rosarii is beautiful, inside and out, and they made me feel very welcome.”
