Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill have confirmed they’re still not officially boyfriend and girlfriend – despite the fact that they won this year’s series of Love Island.
The pair appeared on Loose Women today, and were quizzed about the status of their relationship.
And much to the panel’s surprise, Amber said: “We’re not official yet. We are exclusively dating but not official.”
When asked why they haven’t taken the plunge yet, Amber replied: “He hasn’t asked me yet.”
A nervous looking Greg then said: “We are definitely going in the right direction. I definitely see us getting there but we haven’t even known each other for a month yet. I’ve not been home [to Ireland] and she needs to meet my friends and family.”
Greg, who is set to return to Ireland for his homecoming tomorrow, also confirmed that he’ll return to life as a rugby player – despite his new found Love Island fame.
He said: “Rugby is my first love and I also want to qualify as a solicitor. If I dropped that now, it would be a waste.”
The news comes amid reports that Love Island bosses have cancelled plans to film a spin-off series starring Greg and Amber – as they fear the pair will call time on their romance before the show airs on TV.
