Louis Walsh is set to make a ‘surprise appearance’ on The X Factor, after being axed from the show earlier this year.
Louis, Nicole Scherzinger, and Sharon Osbourne were replaced by Louis Tomlinson, Robbie Williams, and his wife Ayda Field on the judging panel this year.
However, in a shock new twist – Louis is set to make an appearance on the new brand new series when one of his former protégés, Brendan Murray, auditions for the new judges.
Brendan was previously a member of Louis’ boyband Hometown, and once represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest.
A source told the Daily Star, “By the nature of the show, there will be footage of Hometown with their manager Louis shown on the programme.”
“So just when everyone thought he had gone, he’s back in spirit, as it were.”
