Louis Walsh has been secretly mentoring THIS TOWIE star

She really trusts his opinion

Louis Walsh is secretly mentoring Megan McKenna, as she hopes to crack the country music industry.

The 24-year-old has revealed that the X Factor judge, who previously managed major bands such as Girls Aloud, Westlife and Boyzone, has been giving her tips on becoming a popstar.

Louis was also the one who pushed her to launch her ITVBe country music show, There’s Something About Megan.

Speaking to The Sun, “Louis Walsh and I talk a lot about my music, and he’s really happy with how it’s going.”

“Basically he actually was one of the people who said to me ages ago that I should go to Nashville and do a show.

“I’d love to get involved in X Factor, maybe – never say never. You never know what’s coming round the corner.

“I mean I’ve speaking to a lot of songwriters and producers. I thought it was quite cool that Now Music you know who do all the albums as they tweeted ‘do you think Megan could make it as a country star?’ It was so cool.”

Megan has previously auditioned for The X Factor twice, and Britain’s Got Talent once.

The news comes after Megan stunned Loose Women viewers last week as she sang acapella live – which was a big moment for her.

“Can I just say I was shaking – do you know I haven’t felt that nervous since I came out of the eye on Big Brother.

“I was really nervous, I mean it’s quite a tough talk show I think sometimes but I just have to say every single person on the panel was amazing, they were so kind to me.”

There’s Something About Megan sees the singer travel to Nashville to pursue her dream of becoming a singer.
