Louis Walsh reveals talent at Dublin auditions was ‘superb’

Great news for those who auditioned for The X Factor in Croke Park yesterday – as Louis Walsh has described the talent as “superb”.

The X Factor judges landed in Croke Park yesterday, after Louis admitted that they were on the look out for the next Niall Horan – and it seems like they may have gotten lucky.

“I always say to Simon, if you want talent, then come to Ireland.

“We are a small island and we have the most talented people here. This is the second-last audition. There is another day in London, but the talent here has been superb,” Louis told the Herald.

The judging panel this year consists of Louis, Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and of course, Simon Cowell – and Louis thinks it’s the best line-up yet.

“I love them. They are my favourite judges in the whole world.

“It is the dream team. It’s Simon, Sharon, Nicole and me and obviously Dermot O’Leary. We are looking brilliant,” he said.

“We are looking for someone who can represent Ireland. This is a huge platform if you want to get a record deal. It’s the best year yet for me.”

Meanwhile, the 63-year-old’s close friend Sharon Osbourne is delighted to be back working with her Lou Lou.

“It is good to be back, it really is.
