Louis Walsh: 'I'm done with The X Factor!'

Long standing reality TV judge Louis Walsh has revealed he is “done with X Factor”.

The TV star has faced rumours lately that he was facing the axe from the series after 11 years on the judging panel.

Now it appears the Mayo native is getting ready to follow in presenter Dermot O’Leary’s footsteps and say goodbye to the show.

“I think I’m done with X Factor honestly. My day job is as a manager, I’ve kind of neglected that.

“I want to get back to being a manager- I’m working with Shane Filan, he’s got a new record coming out and I’m working with Hometown.

“I’d like to get back to where I started off… I never wanted to be on TV, it just happened!” he revealed.

Louis admitted that X Factor bosses are eager to bring in some fresh faces for the long running show.

“I’ve done 11 seasons! That’s a long time on television. I think they’re going to change it, go for a few new faces,” he told The Seven O’Clock Show.

The TV judge has admitted he’s ready to step back from the spotlight and focus his time on managing boyband Hometown.

“I believe in them, I think they’re amazing singers. We’ve got a great record company, we’ve got a great team behind us, we’ve got great songs.

“Everything is working. They’re going all around the country, Killarney, Bundoran and everywhere they go they’ve got a great reaction,” he added.
