Louis Walsh has admitted that he hasn’t heard Niall Horan’s new song, This Town.
The Mullingar man dropped his debut solo single last month, and made history by becoming the first artist to debut at number one on the Social 50 countdown.
Speaking about Niall’s new solo hit, Louis, who appeared as a judge when One Direction were on The X Factor in 2010, said, “I actually haven’t heard it, would you believe it?”

Even though he hasn’t heard Niall’s new song, Louis still wished the 23-year-old good luck and called him a “lucky guy.”
“I’ve been working so hard I haven’t seen it or haven’t heard it,” he told Tracey Clifford on her 2FM show.
“But best of luck to him. Lucky guy, right time, right place.”

The 64-year-old also made headlines for slamming Niall’s band One Direction and called them “monsters.”
“They’re not exactly monsters but they got it all so quickly,” he said.
“They showed up, Simon put them together – [Simon] never gets the credit for some of these things, he literally put them together, he made it all happen for them. I know.
“He got them the best songwriters, the best producers. They were just the luckiest five people in the world.
“They’ve great songs and best of luck to them.”
