Lisa Cannon has admitted that she was disappointed about her axe from Xpose.
The TV3 show underwent a revamp recently and saw three presenters leave the show – Lisa, Peter O’Riordan and Aisling O’Loughlin who also voiced her disappointment in being let go while pregnant.
“I had an inkling that something was going to happen – and wondered how it would pan out.
“So obviously when I was the change that was disappointing to say the least,” she said.

Lisa opened up about leaving Xpose and compared it to a break-up.
“When you are told you won’t be rejoining the show it’s hard news to hear. It’s like a break up. It’s like being told ‘it’s not you, it’s me,'” she told the Irish Daily Mail’s TV Week.
However, the TV3 star has landed a new gig at the station as one of the presenters on their hit show, Weekend AM.
“I was able to consider the flip side, which was that I was being given this opportunity as an anchor for Weekend AM,” she continued.
“There were so many things happening at the same time that I had to get my head around.”

Lisa also opened up on starting a family with her husband Richard Keatley.
The pair married in September 2015 and the former Xpose host has revealed that starting a family at 36 years old doesn’t phase her.
“I am looking at a family I have never tapped into that. That is something that is a big aspect and something that Richard and I are talking about.
“Of course I would love kids and who wouldn’t want to procreate with Richard Keatley? He is gorgeous. We want to look at family as an avenue,” she added.
