Adrian Dunbar has opened up about his “awful” battle with coronavirus.
The Line of Duty star appeared on The Late Late Show on Friday night, where he spoke with presenter Ryan Tubridy about his experience with the deadly virus – which he contracted before Christmas.
The actor, 62, said: “It was awful for three days, like really, really bad. It was like the worst flu ever.”
“Then you have to isolate and lose your taste of smell and taste, and it takes you a couple of weeks to get that back. And then it takes you another week to feel rested because you are totally wrecked.”
“It takes a couple of weeks to get back on your feet, well that is how it was for me,” he explained. “Now I am absolutely fine.”
Adrian added: “I had my first jab the other day and I was pretty bad for a day, but that is all.”
