Linda Martin calls for Vinnie Jones to be AXED from X Factor: Celebrity over his hunting hobby

The singer has expressed her concerns to X Factor judge Louis Walsh

Linda Martin has called for Vinnie Jones to be AXED from X Factor: Celebrity over his hunting hobby.

The Eurovision winner has accused the former footballer of animal cruelty, as he’s previously revealed his love for hunting.

Speaking to the Irish Sun, Linda said she was horrified to see Vinnie on The X Factor last weekend, and said she’s expressed her concerns to her pal Louis Walsh.

She said: “It hurts me so much that a person like Vinnie is involved in a family show like X Factor. He needs to be thrown off immediately.”

“Simon Cowell is an animal lover who has given money to animal charities, I can’t see him condoning Vinnie Jones’ cruelty towards animals unless he doesn’t know about it.”

“Only thugs would go out and shoot animals like this,” she added.

Linda said you can find evidence of Vinnie’s hunting hobby on his own social media accounts, as he’s previously posted pictures of himself posing next to dead animals.

Vinnie signed up for X Factor: Celebrity following the death of his wife, Tanya.

Tanya passed away in July after a six-year cancer battle, after being diagnosed with melanoma in 2013.

The 54-year-old has said if he wins the show, he wants to donate any proceeds of a record contract to Harefield Hospital and Cedars Sinai in honour of his wife.
