The presenter has opened up before about how tough the BBC show is but revealed that it’s her fellow contestants that help her through.
“If it wasn’t for everyone still in that competition, I wouldn’t be here because you have low points,” she told the panel on Loose Women.
“I cry at ads on television. I cry when I can’t do a step. I can’t stop at the moment!
“We all help each other through. We have this WhatsApp group and we talk about everything on it.”
Friendly not flirty: The Bray native revealed Ed’s messages to her were only banter | BBC
Laura talked about the text Ed Balls sent her, offering to “rub that ankle back to health” – and also revealed that he said it in a group chat with every other Strictly contestant.
“I saw that one of the magazines has a ‘Column of Lust’, and I saw that [Ed] was number three in the ‘Column of Lust’,” she continued.
“So, I just sent that picture through. I said he should have been number-one but he messaged back – because I was injured at the time – [and wrote], ‘Well, if you ever want me to rub that ankle back to health!'”
