Laura Whitmore spills her diet and fitness secrets

Laura Whitmore has opened up on how she stays fit and healthy with such a busy life.

The ITV darling, who’s schedule is jam packed with presenting jobs, events and everything in between, revealed that maintaining her healthy lifestyle is all about balance.

“I think balance in life is so important, whether that’s with food or working out or just finding the time to have some fun,” she told Women’s Health Magazine.

“For me, what’s quick and easy and fits into my lifestyle is key – I’m never in one place for long enough for anything too labour intensive!”

In terms of her diet, Laura doesn’t experiment with any juice cleanses and maintains a pleasant diet.

The MTV star usually has porridge for breakfast, a “hipster poached egg with salmon and avocado” for lunch, and fish and green veg cooked in coconut oil for dinner.

“I haven’t eaten red meat since I was 15 so I make sure to get my iron through my greens.

“I can’t stop eating kale – my friends keep making fun of me, even my moisturiser has kale in it!”

With Laura’s busy schedule, you’d think it would be hard for her to find time to work out, but there’s no excuses in her book.

“With my busy schedule it’s nice to get up in the morning and practise yoga or go for a run. I normally manage this four times a week.

“I also run – I make sure I take my trainers everywhere I’m traveling to. It’s the easiest workout to do anywhere in the world, and such a great way to see a new place.”

While the blonde beauty maintains a healthy lifestyle, she still allows herself to cheat.

“Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to be the sum of many parts. If you want a piece of chocolate, eat it, enjoy it!” she added.
