Laura Whitmore has been forced to pull out of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing due to an injury.
The Bray native took to Twitter to release a statement, and admitted that she was “absolutely devastated”.
The blonde beauty was left with no choice but to remove herself from Saturday night’s line-up, as she “didn’t realise the severity” of her injury until it was “too late”.
“If it was my choice, I’d be on the dance floor doing my jive with Gio,” she wrote, referring to her dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

“My priority is to follow the doctor’s instructions to get myself on my feet again without permanent damage and do the thing I love the most, dancing!”

The BBC have since confirmed the injury, but insured fans that she will return.
