Kylie Minogue CANCELS Irish shows just hours before Dublin concert

Kylie Minogue has cancelled her Irish shows just hours before her Dublin concert.

The music icon was set to hit the stage at the 3 Arena tonight, but just announced that she has cancelled her Dublin and Belfast shows.

The 50-year-old announced the news on Twitter, as she told fans that her vocal chords have been strained due to a throat infection.

“Lovers ???? I’m so sorry to let you know that I can’t do tonight’s Dublin or tomorrow’s Belfast shows,” she tweeted.

“I’ve been trying everything possible to be well enough to perform for you but a throat infection has led to vocal strain,” the singer continued.

“I promise I’ll be back as soon as possible and at 100%. (The Guinness will be on me!) We’re working on rescheduling and more details will follow,” the Australian star told fans.

“I’m so, so sorry to let you down and thank you for your understanding,” she concluded.

Many fans were supportive of the singer’s decision and wished her a speedy recovery, but others weren’t so impressed as one fan stated that they flew all the way from L.A. for the highly anticipated gig.

It is unknown when the singer will return to Ireland for a concert, but she did reassure fans that she would reschedule the gigs.
