Keith Duffy’s wife has told how she finds it so “tough” being away from him for so long.
Lisa Duffy admits they have to “make sacrifices” because of his work schedule – which sees him currently performing on the West End for six weeks.
“Keith packed his bags last Monday and he’s gone for five weeks solid and that’s tough,” she said.
“Especially at weekends, when you’re looking forward to sitting down with your partner, maybe opening a bottle of wine or getting a take-out.

“We do make sacrifices. The way we live our life, that’s the way it is. He’s got to work, I do my end of the bargain, I keep the house running.
“I keep the kids going and he goes out there and does what he has to do and that works very well for us.”
And Lisa admits that Keith won’t even be able to make their family holiday this year.
“I go away now for four weeks with my mum and dad and the children. Keith will come and go and come and go,” she told Woman’s Way.
“Boyzone are doing different festivals this summer as well, he has a fair bit of travelling to do.”

Meanwhile Lisa – who just celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary last month – admitted she is still totally in love.
But the Woman’s Way Mum of the Year admits that she expects Keith to want to trade her in for a “younger model”,
“If I’m not the best or in a bad mood, Keith will make me crack up and that’s been a really good foundation for our relationship,” she said.
“I really have a good laugh with him. I enjoy going out with him, hanging out with him. We’re going to be 20 years together in September – he’s 40 in October so he’s spent half his life with me now.
“I say to him, ‘I’m always waiting for the day you’ll trade me in for a younger model.
“I’m with somebody who I’m probably more in love with than I was when I first met him. I depend on Keith even though I’m a very independent woman. Our dynamic, we really need each other still.
“Its great for me to say I still have this partner I really want in my life and he’s with me.”
