Keith Duffy has lead tributes to Stephen Gately on the 12th anniversary of his death.
The Boyzone star died unexpectedly on October 10, 2009 at his holiday home in Majorca at the age of 33.
Taking to Instagram to share a series of snaps of him and his former bandmate, Keith wrote: “I can’t believe it’s 12 years. That infectious laugh Steo !”
“My memories are so precious to me of us together always laughing I miss you so much you absolute Angel, I’ll see you down the road my dear friend ❤️,” the singer added.
Ronan Keating also paid tribute to Stephen on the anniversary of his death.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, he wrote: “Woke up in Spain this morning. 12 years later miss you even more brother.”
Stephen died died from natural causes and suffered acute pulmonary oedema – caused by an undiagnosed heart condition.
