Kayleigh Trappe reveals why she’s reluctant to share new beau Tom on social media

Kayleigh Trappe has revealed why she is reluctant to share her boyfriend Tom on social media, but confesses he has made a few appearances.

The social media star is gearing up to compete in the final, and she and her partner, Ervinas Merfeldas, will dance their routine from Love Week back in week seven.

Each couple’s second routine will be a ‘Showdance’ – a freestyle performance that allows them to combine different dance styles to showcase the creativity, skills, and storytelling abilities they each developed throughout their Dancing with the Stars journey.

When asked why we haven’t seen her boyfriend in any of her hilarious skits, Kayleigh replied: “Well, if you have a fine eye, you actually would have thought of him in a couple of videos, I just don’t point out who he is. He has been in a few of them.”

Revealing why she’s been selective of what she posts, Kayleigh said: “I suppose because of the nature of his job as a teacher, as an ex-teacher myself I understand that there’s different needs and wants of a teacher.”

“But oh for sure he’s glad up for them and Ervinas has been like my partner with the lip syncs in this competition so I have to replace him with Tom afterwards but he’d be well up for them.”

Speaking about finding the balance between public and private life, she said: “It is a case of trying to find a balance of keeping my private life private and my public life public, but at the same time, it’s something I really haven’t thought about to be honest. We just kind of go with the flow but it is still a relatively new relationship.”

“I’m absolutely willing to flaunt and taunt and all that kind of things and he comes down all the time. He’s in my videos, but I don’t point him out so I know now everyone’s going to go looking.”

“But he’s just a great support. He’s constantly given me video ideas and helped me with editing. Actually, I made a video of all the kids joining in with Hot To Go, and it was Tom who helped me edit it, so it was just fantastic. But he’s definitely someone who prefers to be behind the scenes because he won’t get slagging off the lads that way.”
