Katie Taylor retains world boxing title as she wins latest fight

Katie Taylor has done it again, the Dublin boxer has successfully defended her WBA and IBF world titles against Puerto Rican Cindy Serrano in Boston’s TD Gardens.

The epic fight went to the full 10 rounds but there was no doubt that Katie was victorious.

The Bray woman won in front of thousands of her supporters, including UFC champion Conor McGregor.

The MMA star paid Katie a visit right before the fight saying “I’m here for you Katie, just you” before sitting ringside to watch her defend her world title.

Conor also took to Instagram to congratulate the boxer, saying he and his team are watching to make sure she gets the best deals possible as she continues to outclass her fellow fighters.

Clearly sharing the Irish pride, Conor also posted a video of his reactions during the fight.

He also went backstage after the phenomenal win to take photos with the champion.

The Dublin native can be heard calling Katie “an Irish hero” in the video.
