Karen Koster has revealed she’s not planning on starting a family soon – and instead wants to celebrate her first wedding anniversary.
The Xpose presenter will be heading back to Italy next month with husband John McGuire – a year after they married there.
However Karen insisted she isn’t in a rush to have kids – despite her co-star Aisling O’Loughlin recently giving birth and her replacement Michelle Doherty now waiting to give birth.
“It’s funny, people do ask as soon as you get married, but I don’t want the pressure — we’ve nothing to report on that front yet,” she said.

“I’m delighted for Michelle though, I’ve been texting her to see how she’s getting on. She was actually in Sicily the other day and sent me a picture of herself outside the church where John and I married.”
Instead Karen just cares about their return to her Italian wedding location in Sicily for their first anniversary.
Last weekend they celebrated the official first year of being man and wife, while their holiday will make it all feel proper.
“We’re going back to Italy in July for two weeks and I’m so excited I can’t wait,” Karen told the Herald.
“John and I really have this love affair with the place going on and it’ll be really nice to head back and see more of it. We’re going to stop by Lake Garda and Rome, take in as much as we can.”
