Karen Koster has gushed over her Ireland AM co-host Tommy Bowe.
The former rugby player joined the morning show last September, replacing Ciara Doherty as a co-host.
Over the past few months, the 37-year-old has been working closely with Karen – as Virgin Media presenters have been working in pods amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking on RTÉ’s Today Show, Karen opened up about their working relationship.
The mother-of-three said: “He’s the nicest man you will ever meet.”
“I wish I could say he’s really difficult and it’s a struggle but he is annoyingly good at broadcasting he has taken to it like a duck to water.”
“What I love is that he doesn’t come in thinking he’s too cool for school he does the ridiculous stuff… I sort of forget he had this amazing career.”
Karen explained: “He was doing an interview with Ronan O’Gara and they showed footage of him and I went, ‘Who’s that?’ and I get like retrospectively impressed and kind of star-struck by him because I’m like, ‘I know you as this messer!’.”
“He is so good at what he does and we have had such a laugh since we started working together in September.”
“We’re all in it together. We have kids of similar ages, his little girl is going to be four at the weekend and he’s got a one-year-old Jamie as well so we’re sort of in the same boat in terms of the sleepless nights.
“It’s been great we’re really enjoyed it I have to say,” she added.
