Karen Koster already planning baby number three

Karen Koster has revealed that she’s already planning baby number three – but she’ll be taking a longer break between pregnancies this time.

The 35-year-old, who was already mum to 17-month-old old Finn, welcomed her second child John James back in February, with her husband John McGuire.

Now, Karen is already making plans for baby number three, but admitted that she is conscious of her age.

“I would love another one. I’m one of three and John is one of five and the both of us would like to get to three. I’m conscious of my age thought, I don’t want to leave it too long. But I definitely need a break. I want to feel like myself again first,” she told VIP Magazine.

The Xposé host, who has been on maternity leave from the TV3 show for the past few months, also opened up about balancing her career and being a mum.

“I don’t think motherhood and ambition are conflicting things. It was always an ambition of mine to have kids and I wanted to have kids close in age, so I achieved that.

“Also, I was that working person before I was this mum person. Tuhis person is still quite new to me so I don’t think it will be that hard to switch back on.

“Work is kind of like my comfort zone and it’s such a treat to work in a place like Xpose. It will be nice to go back and get that hat back on again.”

The blonde beauty is set to return to the TV3 studios next month, and while she’ll miss her babies – she’s looking forward to getting back into the madness of Xposé.

“I think it will be a nice little time out too,” she said. “Sure, it will give me the chance to finish that cup of coffee while it’s still warm and to go to the bathroom by myself!

“I loved going back last time, it really made me a more renewed energy. People say that motherhood makes women more efficient and it’s definitely true,” she added.
