Jonathan Rhys Meyers helps boy raise money for life-saving treatment

Johnathan Rhys Meyers surprised a young fan and his family by inviting him onto the set of Vikings.

Ben Farrell was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Wilms tumour stage IV in December 2014 and has to go to America for treatment.

“Nicknamed Batman Ben for his bravery, the superhero kid,” Ben’s Facebook page states.

Nicknamed Batman Ben for his bravery, the superhero kid has gone to various events and met some other famous faces, like impersonator Al Foran, to raise awareness for the rare disease.

“A big thank you to Jonathan for the support,” the page continued.
