Joe Schmidt has confirmed that he will leave his role as Ireland head coach after the Rugby World Cup.

The New Zealander’s successor has already been confirmed, as the team’s current defence coach, Andy Farrell, is set to step in for the role.

Joe has been head coach since 2013 and brought the team to Six Nations success in 2014 and 2015.
