Jodie Comer has shared an emotional tribute to the crew of The Last Duel, as she wrapped up filming in Ireland.

The actress will star alongside Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Adam Driver in the upcoming Ridley Scott movie, which was shot in different locations across the country – including Cahir Castle in Tipperary.

To mark the end of filming, Jodie took to Instagram to share some snaps with the backstage crew – admitting she had “mixed emotions” about finishing.

“Ecstatic to have finished this movie given the circumstances, yet beyond sad to say goodbye to the most wonderful people,” she wrote.

“Many of them not pictured here but these 3 were trouble, the best kind! Thank you so much to the entire cast and crew.

“THE LAST DUEL ❤️” Jodie concluded the post.

The film’s storyline is set in 14th-century France, about best friends Jean de Carrouges and Jacques Le Gris – who are ordered to fight to the death after Carrouges accuses Le Gris of raping his wife.

Last month, Killing Eve star Jodie shared a snap on Killiney Beach after enjoying a dip in the Irish Sea.

“Thanks a mil Ireland. x”, she captioned the photo, adding: “(Inside:🥶)”

According to reports, her co-star Matt Damon moved into a lavish home in Killiney for the film, close to pal Bono, after quarantining in Dalkey at the beginning of the pandemic.

During Matt’s stay in Dalkey at the beginning of the pandemic, he was snapped in a now-viral photo as he headed for a swim.

The Bourne star had his swimming shorts in a Super Valu plastic bag – with the store itself even commenting on the photo.

“Great choice Matt,” the popular store commented.
