Jeremy McConnell has been charged with assaulting his girlfriend Stephanie Davis.
The Irish reality star was arrested on suspicion of assault back in March after an alleged incident that took place at Stephanie’s house in Liverpool.
According to The Sun, a police spokesman said, “Merseyside Police can confirm Jeremy, 27 years, of Swords, Ireland has been charged with assault and criminal damage following an incident in Rainhill on 9 March 2017.
“He is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 10 May 2017.”
Following his arrest in March, Jeremy denied any wrongdoing, and a spokesperson for the CBB star said, “Jeremy denies any wrongdoing, however he is fully cooperating with the police in their investigations.”
Meanwhile, Jeremy and Stephanie, who welcomed son Caben-Albi in January, have been flaunting their relationship on social media since reuniting after Jeremy’s stint in rehab.
