Jenny Buckley has revealed that she and her husband Garrett McClean are expecting their second child.
The 39-year-old is four months along, and feels “incredibly blessed”.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Jenny said, “I’m just over the moon, it’s the best thing that’s happened to me in years, I feel incredibly blessed.”
“I was very sick for the first few months, it wasn’t just in the morning, it was all day so I had this really green look. People kept saying, are you ok, what’s wrong with you? But I couldn’t say anything.”
“I kept it under wraps and didn’t even tell my parents until I was 12 weeks gone as you can’t be too sure nowadays. I was unbelievably tired which everyone said was a really positive sign.
“But now I’m just so hungry all the time, but I’m going to try to be healthy. I’m starting light work outs and pregnancy yoga, I haven’t done anything in a few months as I haven’t had the energy.”
The former UTV Ireland presenter unveiled her baby bump on Instagram, and has been receiving plenty of congratulatory messages.
“My good friends Sile [Seoige] and Michelle [Doherty] have been congratulating me and it’s great because I’ll be able to hang out with Sile and her baby when my little one arrives.”
The blonde beauty is already mum to five-year-old daughter Jude, and said that she can’t wait to meet her sibling.
“Our little girl Jude is beside herself with excitement, every day she asks me is the baby coming now. She’s been asking for a baby brother or sister for a long time now so it can’t come soon enough for her, she’ll be a great big sister.”
