Jennifer Zamparelli has admitted she used to lie about her age all the time.
The TV presenter has revealed that for a long time she didn’t feel comfortable with idea of ageing, and even changed her real age on Wikipedia.
Speaking on her RTE2fm show today, the 39-year-old explained: “I had to lie until I got there [felt more comfortable], because I didn’t want to get left behind, if I’m being honest.”
But Jennifer added: “Now I’m grand, totally fine, I’m really content. I’m really happy with my lot so to speak.”
Adding a touch of humour to her chat with Lottie Ryan, the mother-of-two joked, “And I don’t mind saying that I’m 37!”
Jennifer has had an incredible television career since she rose to fame on BBC’s The Apprentice.
The TV star appeared on the likes of Fáilte Towers and Republic of Telly, before creating her own TV series ‘Bridget & Eamon’ with Bernard O’Shea.
Marking her biggest career moment to date, the presenter landed a hosting role on RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars earlier this year – and went down a hit with viewers.
