Jennifer Maguire has admitted that she thinks she would have had a very happy life had she never became a mum.
The TV star gave birth to her first daughter Florence in April with husband Lau but insisted women don’t need to become parents to feel fulfilled.
“I think if it didn’t happen I would still have a very happy life,” she said.

“You know, I know a lot of people who are going through difficulties in trying to conceive and going down the IVF treatment; and I think they feel a lot of pressure.”
“But I can still have a happy life without having a child, absolutely and I still would have,” she told the Sunday Independent.
The Republic of Telly star admitted that she’s always had a maternal side.

“I’ve always had a maternal side; I’ve always wanted to have a kid. I’ve ten nieces and nephews.”
“I waited for so long. We were trying for a while.”
