Pop twins Jedward’s mum has attacked a “sick” satirical website which mocked the rescue of her sons.

Yesterday, it emerged that the former Eurovision stars had to be rescued by a Coast Guard helicopter in a daring late-night rescue.

But Susanna Grimes was angered after Waterford Whispers posted a satirical story, stating: “Coast Guard Apologises For Rescuing Jedward.”

And the X Factor stars’ manager told the Irish Sun that it was “disrespectful” to make like of her sons nearly drowning.

“This website and what it has done is absolutely sick. So many innocent people have lost their lives in water tragedies. You cannot make light of this,” she said.

“I also think it’s disrespectful of them to have made-up quotes from the brave Irish Coast Guard team who rescued my sons.”

Previously, Waterford Whispers found itself blasted after convincing people Ryan Tubridy had been found dead.
