Jamie Dornan has admitted that he put a bet on Gillian Anderson to be the next Bond.
In late May of this year, Gillian tweeted out a fan-made photo edit of her as the secret agent – and fans went crazy.
Now, Gillian’s The Fall co-star Jamie has revealed that he “put a tenner on” her being the next 007.
“You looked good in that poster, I thought that was good. I put a bet on,” he said.

The actor said that he had found a way to place a bet on his co-star.
“I put a tenner on, yeah. You can put a bet on you know. I did look into it,” he told Buzzfeed.
The actress revealed that she was flattered to be considered for the role, and would like to see Bond reinvented – but maybe not as a woman.
“But it was flattering. It was a fun little thing that ran for a little while,” she told Buzzfeed.
It’s Bond. Jane Bond.
Thanks for all the votes! (And sorry, don’t know who made poster but I love it!) #NextBond pic.twitter.com/f8GC4ZuFgL— Gillian Anderson (@GillianA) May 21, 2016
Jamie also revealed the amount of work that goes into him becoming Paul Spector in The Fall.
“I love it. It’s a huge departure from who I am and that’s a very tantalising project as an actor.
“You can go deep with him. He requires that,” he added.
“He’s such a multilayered, ultimately awful human being so there’s so much to delve in to, which is great, but it doesn’t always look that way.”
The father-of-two also admitted that he wouldn’t want to influence his daughters to pursue a certain career, calling it dangerous.
