Jake Carter shares his upset after flight home for Christmas is cancelled

Jake Carter has revealed his flight home for Christmas has been cancelled.

The musician was due to fly back to Liverpool to see his family this week, but his flight has been cancelled due to a new travel ban between the UK and Ireland.

Sharing a screenshot of his flight cancellation on Twitter, Jake wrote: “Christmas ain’t gonna be the same now. Totally over this Covid sh*te now.”

New travel restrictions were put in place this week, due to a mutated strain of coronavirus which has been discovered in the UK.

The new strain is thought to be 70 percent more transmissible, and the travel ban will remain in place until December 31st.

Over the past few months, Jake has been living in Fermanagh with his dancer girlfriend Karen Byrne, and his country crooner brother Nathan.
