Irish presenter Rachel Wyse quits Sky Sports role after six years

Rachel Wyse has announced she’s stepping down from her role at Sky Sports.

The 36-year-old has worked at the station for years, and is best known for presenting GAA matches on the channel.

Sharing the news on Twitter today, the Dublin native wrote: “After 6 of the very best years working on the most rewarding job in my career with the GAA, it’s time to step back.”

“I’ve learnt so much and made friends for life,” she continued.

“Thank you for the memories, I’m forever grateful to everyone who helped me along the way, you know who you are. #SKYGAA.”

The news comes after Rachel welcomed her first child, a daughter named Isabella, in September with her husband Tim Gredley.

Rachel married Tim in January 2019, and the pair hosted their lavish wedding reception at Adare Manor in Limerick.

The couple have been together since 2016, but they actually met 17 years ago at a horse show in Cavan.

Tim is a champion show jumper, and has represented the Great Britain national team.

He’s also the director of his father’s real estate company, and landed a place on the Sunday Times Young Rich List (under 30) in 2017 when his fortune was estimated at a massive €224million.
