Irish glamour model Ava Van Rose partied with The Weeknd ahead of his headline gig at Longitude, it has been revealed.
The 26-year-old Dubliner became close to the singer’s XO crew earlier this year, when she joined The Weeknd’s pal Drake on his European tour.
A source has told how the busty babe, whose real name is Bridget Byrne, and several of her friends were invited to join The Weeknd and his crew at the Westbury Hotel, the night before he performed at Marlay Park.
“She knew all The Weeknd’s entourage from earlier in the year and they stayed in touch on Instagram and wanted to meet up for Longitude,” a source told the Irish Sun.
“She arrived at the hotel with two friends at about 9pm and one of The Weeknd’s assistants came down and said he knew her from online.
“A gang of them went to the Morgan Hotel for drinks and then later Ava went back to the Westbury for an after-party.”
A source close to Ava said that she was “star-struck” when she was introduced to her “number one crush”.
“She was brought up to The Weeknd’s penthouse suite and was so star-struck but said he was really calm and mellow,”
The Canadian singer was most recently linked to Selena Gomez, however, an insider claims that he showed interest in Ava.
“He said to her, ‘how do the guys know you?’ and ‘I’d remember you’. He was blown away by her body and told her she didn’t look Irish.
“She said they had a great time. He’s a massive Conor McGregor fan just like Drake and he said he really loves Irish people.”
After the party, The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, arranged for Ava to be given an artist pass for his headline gig at Longitude the next day.
Representatives for The Weeknd and Ava Van Rose declined to comment when contacted by the Irish Sun last night.
