Lucinda Strafford is the latest star linked to the 2021 Love Island line-up.

The new season kicks off on Virgin Media One on Monday, June 28.

According to The Sun, Irish football star Aaron Connolly’s ex-girlfriend Lucinda has signed up for the popular dating show.

An insider told the publication: “She’s going in to plug her business. She wants fame and money – she’s always wanted to be a celebrity. She’s trying to become an influencer, she wants to do it for her business.”

“Aaron’s really upset and really annoyed about it. They were together for two years and then broke up… They have argued about her going in.”

“Love Island producers approached Lucinda before. She rejected the previous offer as she was flying with British Airways. But she was made redundant after Covid.”

Aaron, 21, plays as a forward for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the Republic of Ireland national team.

Lucinda, also 21, has over 34.5k followers on Instagram.

It comes after Irish social media star Lucy Plunkett was linked to the line-up.
