Last week, reports claimed that Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga had been spotted on a romantic getaway in France.
Many speculated that Gaga and Bradley had enjoyed a romantic date in the Chateau La Coste in Provence.
However, the grainy photos from the “date” which appeared to show Lady Gaga, actually portrayed a lunch between the actor and Irish artist Guggi.
60-year-old Guggi is a friend of U2 frontman Bono, who was also in attendance.
A source told The Sun: “Bradley hasn’t seen her in months. He is good pals with Bono and met up with him and his friends, who include Guggi.”
“He’s just trying to enjoy a break in the sun.”
Guggi is an avant garde artist who once performed in goth rock band Virgin Prunes.
His work is held in the public collections of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin.
Since Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performed together in A Star Is Born, many fans have “shipped” the artists together.
