Irish actress Jessie Buckley has been cast in season four of popular FX series Fargo.
The Kerry native will star alongside some big names, including Jack Huston, Jason Schwartzman, Ben Whishaw, Chris Rock, Jeremie Harris and Andrew Bird.
The fourth season of the show will be based in Kansas City in 1950, at the end of two great migrations — that of southern Europeans to the United States, and of African Americans moving away from the Jim Crow South.
Jessie rose to fame after appearing on BBC talent show series ‘I’d Do Anything’, which saw her compete with other actresses for a major West End musical role.
Production on season four of Fargo is scheduled to begin later this year, and the series will air on FX in 2020.
