Imelda May said that if people want to hear her ex-husbands point of view on the breakdown of their marriage, they should go and listen to his album.
The singer split with her husband Darrel Higham back in 2015, and she insists her latest record Life Love Flesh Blood is not a break-up album.
But she says to critics who believe her album is one-sided, should go and listen to Darrel’s album.

Speaking to The Irish Daily Mail’s You magazine, Imelda said, “Darrel has written his own album so if you want to hear his side of things you can go and listen to the songs on his album.
“He knows I’m a songwriter and he knows that’s what I was going to do and that’s what he did. That’s good, that’s healthy and it’s the way it should be.”
The Irish singer recently spoke about how the death of her cousin Caroline led to her ending her marriage.
