As we all know, Ireland beat Italy 1-0 last night in France thanks to Robbie Brady’s incredible goal in the 85th minute – and the Irish team celebrated in the best way.
After taking in the excited chants and screams from the Irish fans, the footballers retired to their dressing room where they toasted to their success with some good old fashioned cans of Carlsberg.
Taking to Instagram, Robbie Keane shared a snap of the (shirtless) winners, and wrote, “Proud to be Irish, well done lads.”
While Robbie Brady’s girlfriend admitted that she was the “proudest woman in Ireland”, Irish people all over the world were left bursting with pride as the match rolled into the final minutes.
Robbie’s winning goal against Italy has secured Ireland a place in the final 16, with the team set to play France on Sunday.
After the lads toasted to their win in the dressing room last night, they then went on to celebrate on their bus, as they sang “come on you boys in green.”
