Home and Away stars Sarah Roberts and James Stewart have revealed why they decided to get married in Ireland.
The couple, who play Willow Harris and Justin Morgan in the hit Australian soap, tied the knot at Luttrellstown Castle just outside Dublin on July 23.
Speaking exclusively to Who magazine, Sarah said they decided to get married in Ireland because her brother lives here, and is currently unable to travel “because of health reasons”.
James said:Â “We could have easily gotten married under a tree by some water or on a property up in the hills; anywhere! But this has been magic.”
Sarah added:Â “I wanted it to be a celebration of love and the important thing for us is for our families to come together and for us all to be together and everyone to just have an enjoyable time.”
The pair also said they were surprised by how amazing the weather was when they tied the knot.
Sarah said: “It was 25 degrees the day we got married, which is really unusual for Ireland at this time. They were all running around saying it was a heatwave!”
