“He’s very quick-witted and has a great sense of humour so I’m sure the viewers will find him entertaining,” she told the Irish Mail On Sunday.

“He has a lot of experience behind him and I’m dying to see how he gets on with Sir Alan and his co-stars,” she added.

“Dillon is very honest and he doesn’t hold back, which I love about him, so it will be interesting to see how the other contestants take it.”

New series: The show is back this Thursday on BBC

Speaking ahead of the series Dillon said he is famously too honest, and that people will have nowhere to hide from him in the show.

“I am famous for the truth bomb. I am all about saying it as it is. I don’t mess about, I don’t get too emotional with it.

“If it hurts I’m sorry, but that’s a fact. Facts are facts, it’s a science. There’s nowhere to hide with me, with regards to business,” he added.
