Greg O’Shea has revealed he suffered serious facial injuries just weeks before he went on Love Island.
The Limerick native won the show back in 2019, alongside Amber Gill.
The rugby player made the confession during a Q&A on Instagram, after a follower asked if he’s ever broken his nose.
Greg replied: “Funny story my own teammate broke my nose and skull weeks before going into Love Island.”
“People have told me not to get it fixed but I want to because I’m quite conscious of it and one of my nostrils is blocked.”
The 26-year-old was also asked if he’s been watching the brand new series of Love Island, which kicked off on Monday.
“I’m trying to get into it but it has been a slow start,” he replied. “We have got to give it time though to understand their personalities and let the story develop.”
“Also the villa needs some Irish in my opinion. Remember how much Maura brought to the show when she went in,” he added.
